Charlie is asked to create a story about the pictures of people that the woman gives. It is called the "raw shock" test. However, he does not comprehend the purpose of the test at all. He tells the test giver that if he lies, he would be disciplined as a child. Burt shows Charlie Algernon, a mouse that has been through the surgery that Carlie will receive in the future.
